Made in Belgium: Selah Sue (update)
Since I posted about Selah Sue 4 years ago, she's only grown as an artist and her fame is now crossing the borders. She's no longer the shy newly discovered talent but a leading lady. Last week she was on stage in her (almost) home town again in Leuven, which is a rare occasion to see her as she's usually travelling. Unfortunately I wasn't there, but I've been at a concert in the past in Leuven.
I still admire her voice that is really impressive live, but I also love her autenticity, spontaneity and honesty eg when it comes to her testimonials on mental illness where she fights against taboos and her own depressions.
