Birthday party

It was with quite some delay that we could gather our family to celebrate Kabouter's 2nd birthday.  (also because we didn't think of starting to organise a little party until his actual birthday).

After a rather difficult night for all of us due to a new pushing molar, we all managed to get ourselves up and ready before everyone arrived. Some of the gifts were opened before we went to lunch and a new bus and a new ambulance made the little man's day.  They accompagnied us right away to the restaurant.

We had a nice family lunch in the restored mill of the abbey in the neighbourhood and were lucky to see the mill turning.

 Back at home there were more "transport themed" gifts: our family knows Kabouter's passion well. Even the cake was decorated with some cars.

And after a busy fun day, we're all ready to go to bed early.
