The big repair operation

I feared a bit that Beertje would always be wearing hand-me-downs. But that is an illusion: both Kabouter as Beertje are ensuring very effectively that no pants can be re-used again.  Knee holes have a become a normal feature in their pants.

So I must learn how to repair if I don't want to go buying pants at an unwanted rate.  I can't sew at all (and I don't have a machine), so right now I'm learning and testing different iron-on-patches.  Let's see how these hold. Fingers crossed.
